Dr. Linda Beed is an award-winning author, educator, speaker, developmental editor and performing artist. A popular literary veteran Dr. Beed’s expertise has been sought for hosting, facilitating and coordinating local and national literary events. Her major focus is upon writing and creating a bond and strong presence for African American authors in the Pacific Northwest. Her one-woman monologue, ‘Tell Them’ depicts the last day in the life of Carol Denise McNair, the youngest victim of the 1963 Sixteenth Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama.
