When Memories Fade is a story that touches the mind and spirit.
It has been twenty plus years since the disappearance of her mother.
Unsettled about the unsolved mystery, Angel Roberts sets out on a mission to
find the answers she needs. The one person she believes can help her is her
grandmother. The gateway to that option closes when the grandmother suffers a
stroke and answers she might have are locked inside her mind.
Determined to solve this cold case Angel continues her quest for
answers. Along the way she meets Wes Cade, a reporter seeking answers to many
of the same questions she has. Their journey toward truth will cause them to
learn much about the mystery and themselves. The relationship they develop is
refreshing in that it is grows without the trappings of unnecessary sex scenes,
but by no means is boring. Add to that the mystery to be solved and you have a
read that is thought-provoking, intelligent and entertaining.
Author Moody's sophomore project showcases her talents through the
development of her characters, the pacing of her story and the welcomed twists
that keep the reader engaged. Additionally she touches on a subject that many
today are faced with--the challenges of caring for someone with Alzheimer.
Tyora has coined her books as Soul-Searching Suspense. She is a member of Sisters in Crime and American Christian Fiction Writers. She served as a judge for the Christy Awards for three years.
